Position Summary:The Special District MUD Paralegal supports attorneys by performing substantive legal work in connection with municipal utility districts (MUDs). This role plays a critical part in ensuring board operations, compliance, and filings are handled with accuracy and professionalism. The paralegal collaborates closely with attorneys, consultants, board members, and residents to deliver high-quality legal services while contributing to the overall efficiency of the MUD team.Key Responsibilities:· Draft agendas, meeting packets, and minutes for board meetings.· Assemble and organize exhibits to accompany meeting minutes.· Schedule and coordinate board meetings, occasionally attending as needed.· Prepare, post, and distribute agendas and legal notices in compliance with statutory requirements.· Support attorneys in bond transactions, including compiling due diligence materials and assisting with related filings.· Manage statutory filings, elections (including early voting a...
