Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated and sharp-eyed Multi-Platform Sub-Editor to join our fast-paced newsroom.
Key Responsibilities:
- Craft high-impact story headlines and standfirsts for various platforms
- Design, prepare and complete layouts for print
- Ensure factual accuracy and alignment of final copies to the publication’s house style
- Work closely with reporters and editor to coordinate, curate and optimize content
Requirements:
- Degree in Journalism, Communications, Chinese Studies or related field.
- Candidates with 2-3 years of relevant experience in a newsroom or editorial environment are highly preferred.
- Effectively bilingual in English and Chinese (both written and spoken), as this role is for a Chinese publication
