About the role:
This is a fantastic opportunity for motivated Drivers to join a Local Government team and make a visible impact on the community. You will be an essential part of the crew responsible for operating Street sweepers or side loader trucks in local streets ensuring they are safe, clean, and enjoyable for all residents.
Location: Melbourne's local councils located in the South East Suburbs.
Pay: $41 - $51
You'll be working on a variety of tasks, including:
- Operating specialised plant such as Street Sweepers and waste collection vehicles.
- Driving fleet vehicles (MR class and above) across designated routes and depots.
- General manual handling tasks (shovelling, raking, pit cleaning, and heavy lifting).
- Assisting with waste disposal and ensuring all precinct maintenance is done to a high standard.
