Overview
Municipality of Jasper AB Fleet Mechanic. Anticipated Start Date: ASAP. Position Details: Number of Positions Available 1. Position Type: Full-Time; Duration: 1-year term (term). The primary role is to assist the Fleet Technician with preventative and corrective maintenance on the Municipality of Jasper’s vehicles and equipment, and to operate heavy equipment as required to support scheduled and emergency operational needs including hauling, earthworks and snow clearing.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean and safe worksite.
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance of all small engines, motorized and non-motorized equipment, and light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles including Emergency Services Vehicles.
- Ensure all vehicles are inspected and maintained in compliance with the Municipality of Jasper’s Fitness Safety Certificate and Safety and Maintenance Programs.
