Nottingham Girls High School wishes to appoint an outstanding and entrepreneurial musician to join our thriving music department in a unique hybrid role combining instrumental teaching and ensemble leadership.
This exciting position offers the opportunity to develop a centre of excellence in saxophone and clarinet tuition while leading and inspiring our swing band and single reed ensembles.
About You
- Is an accomplished teacher of both saxophone and clarinet.
- Has a proven ability to lead bands and ensembles to a high standard.
- Is motivated to recruit, develop and retain pupils.
- Can establish and sustain a reputation for excellence in woodwind performance.
- Brings energy, creativity and strong organisational skills.
- Has the ability to arrange music and/or accompany performers (highly desirable).
- Is passionate about developing young musicians through both individual tuition and ensemble performance.
