Kimley-Horn's Denver, CO office is seeking an MV Collection System Engineer to support fast‑paced, developer‑driven renewable generation and BESS projects.
**Responsibilities**
+ Design MV collection systems including feeder layouts, routing, and voltage drop
+ Develop and redline site layouts, one‑lines, and schematic diagrams
+ Perform supporting electrical studies such as load flow and voltage drop
+ Coordinate closely with civil teams on trenching and duct bank design
+ Support utility interconnection reviews while maintaining developer schedules
+ Provide rapid engineering support during construction and commissioning
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
+ 4+ years of MV power system or renewable energy design experience
+ Strong ability to provide redlines and technical direction
+ Familiarity with NEC, IEEE, and utility standards
