Job Description
A babysitter is responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of children while their parents or guardians are away. They provide attentive care, engage children in age-appropriate activities, prepare light meals or snacks, assist with homework (if needed), and maintain a safe and clean environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and care for children in a safe, nurturing environment
- Prepare meals, snacks, and bottles as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in play areas and child-related spaces
- Follow parents instructions regarding schedules, meals, bedtime, and activities
- Respond quickly and calmly to any emergencies
- Communicate with parents about childrens behavior, needs, or concerns
Qualifications
- At least High School graduate or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a nanny or babysitter preferred.
