Job Summary
The NCV/EEG Technician is responsible for performing high quality Nerve Conduction Velocity (NCV) and Electroencephalogram (EEG) diagnostic studies to support physicians in evaluating and diagnosing neurological conditions. This role ensures accurate data collection, excellent patient care, and adherence to clinical and safety standards.
EEG technician responsibilities include preparing patients, placing electrodes, conducting tests, monitoring responses, documenting abnormalities, and reporting findings to physicians.
EEG Responsibilities
• Set up, operate, and maintain EEG equipment in accordance with physician orders.
• Apply scalp electrodes correctly, ensuring secure placement and signal quality.
• Conduct EEG tests, monitor patients during procedures, and ensure comfort and safety throughout the exam.
