Assignment Length: Ongoing coverage need Start Date: As soon as credentialed Openings: 1 Reason for Coverage: Long-term permanent search Practice Setting: Level III NICU Responsibilities include: Delivery room attendance Neonatal resuscitation PICC line placement Umbilical line placement Needle aspiration Chest tube placement Supervising Physician on-site Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 7:00-7:30 Day and night coverage needed Patient Population: Neonates EMR: EPIC Credentialing: 120 days Requirements: Active Michigan licensure Board certification NRP certification Minimum 1-year Neonatology experience or equivalent Job Responsibilities (Generalized): Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Order and interpret diagnostic tests Prescribe medications and manage chronic conditions Provide patient education and counseling on healthy lifestyle choices.
