JOB OVERVIEW Profession: Physician Specialty: Nephrology Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Lithonia & Jonesboro, GA Service Setting: Outpatient Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: ASAP Oct 02, 2026 Shift Schedule: Mon Fri, 8:30a 5:30p Lithonia; Mon & Tue Jonesboro; Wed-Fri Reason for Coverage: Supplemental Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered by Agency PATIENT INFORMATION Average Daily Volume: 15 FACILITY INFORMATION EMR System: Epic PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: No JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: BC/BE Licenses: Licensed in GA Certifications: BLS Duties & Responsibilities Provide outpatient nephrology care at Southwood specialty location (Wed-Fri) and Panola location (Mon, Tues). Maintain regular clinic hours from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM with a 1-hour lunch break. Manage a patient volume of approximately 15 patients per day. Utilize the Epic EMR system for all patient charting and documentation. Dialysis rounding is not required.
