Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain core data centre switching across L2/L3, including routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), high-availability (HSRP/VRRP), and link aggregation
  • Support enterprise switching platforms (such as Aruba, Arista, or Cisco Nexus class) in a change-controlled environment
  • Administer enterprise firewall and VPN platforms, including access and policy upkeep
  • Monitor network health, analyse errors and counters, and triage incidents
  • Execute changes within approved maintenance windows, with full ITSM evidence and rollback discipline
  • Apply firmware and software updates in line with approved standards
