Fugro Satellite Positioning, Inc. has an immediate opening in its Singapore office for a Network Controller responsible for monitoring and proactively supporting the daily operation of our Fugro Data Network, including the Network Control Center (NCC), remote sites, and satellite uplink sites.
Major Responsibilities- Monitoring operation of the NCC (remote site data collection, central computer operation, data distribution and uplinking) and responding to data alarm conditions.
- Working rotating shifts in a 24/7 environment.
- Fault isolating and resolution using internal and external resources.
- Documenting all alarm conditions and actions.
- Performing data archiving and plotting tasks.
- Collating system performance statistics and assisting in the production of tables and graphs for reporting and system analyses.
