Scope of Work:
Site Access and Security
Register entry, comply with local protocols, note escort requirements.
Location Documentation
Capture GPS coordinates, photograph main demarcation point, record comms room location.
Cable Route Measurement
Measure distance between demarcation point and comms room.
Network Rack Assessment
Record rack details (ID, height, occupied/free U, device types), check stability, capture photos.
Floor Space and Power Readiness
Measure floor area, verify power feeds, UPS, cooling, grounding
Network Device Inventory
Record WAN/LAN devices, ports, interfaces, patch panels
