**Description**
The Neurodiagnostic Technologist I is an entry to mid-level position in the neurodiagnostic unit or department.
+ The Neurodiagnostic Technologist performs EEG/ NCVs/Ambulatory procedures according to facility/department policy and procedures.
+ Can perform test set up, collect patient history, measure/mark/apply electrodes as per 10-20 guidelines, acquire EEG data, provide tech impression of EEG recording, and maintain patient safety during clinically relevant events.
+ May be asked to do other related duties such as electrode maintenance, monitoring par stock levels, and restocking.
+ Performing inpatient/outpatient EEG procedures per ACNS guidelines.
+ Measure and mark head for electrode placement, apply electrodes, record EEG study per department guidelines, end study and complete patient documentation.
+ Apply electrodes in ICU and Epilepsy Monitoring Unit in preparation for extended long term monitoring EEG studies.
