Job Title : Neurologist
Job Overview :
The neurologist provides non-surgical specialty care for disorders of the brain and peripheral nerves . He/she perform s physical examinations, review s medical histories, prescribe s medications and order s various ancillary tests to diagnose and treat patients.
Key/Essential Functions & Responsibilities :
+ Analyze patient medical histories
+ Consult with patients’ primary care physicians to coordinate care
+ Order and interpret E E G, laboratory, imaging and other diagnostic tests
+ Determine a diagnosis and plan of care for each patient
+ Partner with other members of the care team (e.g., nurse, medical assistant, social worker )
