NL Health Services is seeking a skilled Neurologist at the new Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, NL, to deliver expert care in an interdisciplinary environment. This role involves clinic-based and inpatient services with on-call obligations.
Candidates must hold a Medical Degree (MD) and be eligible for licensure as a Neurologist. The Neurologist will perform diagnostic tests, make informed diagnoses, and liaise with patients and families regarding treatment options. This role emphasizes person-centered care, improving patient safety and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver comprehensive neurological services both in clinics and hospitals
• Conduct diagnostic assessments and interpret results
• Formulate diagnoses from observational data and tests
• Engage with patients and families about treatment choices
• Work alongside other medical professionals in a team setting
