Summary
The Newsgathering Operations Support Co-ordinator plays a key role in ensuring the smooth running of Volant Media’s newsgathering operations. Reporting to the News gathering Senior Operations Manager and working closely with the Senior Newsdesk and Guest Producer, this role provides essential logistical and editorial support to ensure that field reporting, breaking news coverage and planned deployments are delivered effectively.
The role requires exceptional organisational skills, strong communication and the ability to work calmly under pressure in a fast-moving news environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Newsgathering Operations Manager in coordinating daily deployments, travel, accreditation, safety and kit for correspondents and crews.
