Job Description
Hospital is seeking Locum Pediatric Cardiology Nurse Practitioner to provide coverage starting May 11, 2025- Contract Length: 26 weeks- Schedule: 3x12 hour shifts per week, 50/50 days and nights, every 3rd weekend- No call- Support staff: RN, APP, attendings - Department description: Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit- Coverage needed per month: 12 shifts per month between 2 providers- Patients per day: 5-12- Patient population/age: peds- EMR: EPIC- Hospital bed size: 477- Special procedures: Working in the CICU, with the ability to take care of highly acute cardiac patients.- Skills required: Critical care experience, postoperative cardiac management, exp with congenital heart defects, must have pediatric CICU experience- Required: MA license, ANCC or AANP board certification, DEA, CSR, PALS, BLS, ACLS, minimum 2 years experience, covid vaccine
