Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead complete New Product Development (NPD) lifecycle for headliner systems (soft trim/interior components).
- Work closely with OEMs to understand technical specifications, styling, and functional requirements.
- Drive design & engineering of headliner components including substrates, fabrics, foam, reinforcements, and integration parts (lighting, wiring, grab handles, sun visors, etc.).
- Oversee CAD design and validation using tools like CATIA/NX.
- Manage DFMEA, PFMEA, DVP&R , and engineering documentation.
- Coordinate prototype development , trials, and product validation activities.
- Ensure compliance with NVH, safety, and regulatory standards .
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams: manufacturing, quality, sourcing, tooling, and suppliers.
