Job Description
The Infection Unit is looking for a hardworking, dynamic, proactive, and friendly nurse to join their senior nursing team in the Band 5 role.
Ward 111 consists of 26 beds looking after patients with both acute and chronic infections and complex discharge planning.
The Band 5 staff nurse role involves the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care in conjunction with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure high quality, evidence based, and person centred care.
We can offer a good working environment within a large multidisciplinary team who are keen to support the educational and training needs of our staff. The ward has a culture of continuous quality improvement and are undertaking many initiatives to improve patient safety and support patients with cognitive impairment.
The post is rotational, working a 12-hour shift pattern on a day/night shift basis. The hours of work are 36 hours per week.
