Responsibilities
- Effectively maintain the physical mechanical plant in a condition of operating excellence that ensures full educational use of these facilities at all times.
- Assume primary responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of all HVAC equipment and building automation under the Board’s jurisdiction of care and maintenance.
- Assist the Board’s HVAC & mechanical staff as required.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Manager – Technical & Maintenance Services.
Qualifications
- Must possess a current Gas Technician Level 1 Certificate.
- Must have experience with commercial boiler service and maintenance – an asset.
- Licensed electrician – an asset.
- Experience on Patterson Kelly boilers – an asset.
