Job Description
**General Summary**
Administers anesthetic agents to patients according to established standards and regulations.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
**Essential Functions:**
+ Reviews and assesses patient condition and develops anesthesia management plan in collaboration with the Anesthesiologist.
+ Administers anesthetic agents. Calculates doses and monitors parameters.
+ Maintains patient documentation.
+ Responds to code/trauma to establish and maintain patient airways via intubation. Documents treatment rendered.
+ Transports patients from surgery area to post-anesthesia recovery area. Reports patient status to physician and nurse care giver.
+ Provides airway management training to residents, students and other staff.
