Job Description
Summary The Resource Pool Nurse works in Patient Care Services and is responsible and accountable for individual nursing practice and determines the appropriate delegation of tasks consistent with the nurse's obligation to provide optimal care to multiple areas of nursing. The incumbent will also seek guidance on how to improve care provided to patients and families and delegate elements of care to the appropriate individual based upon assessed needs, condition, and safety of the patient. Responsibilities Duties include but are not limited to: Participates in the development, implementation, and evaluation of interdisciplinary care. Engages patients, families, and other caregivers to incorporate knowledge, values, and beliefs into care planning without judgement or discrimination.
