Job Description
Responsibilities
- Accountable for providing professional nursing care to patients within a hospital unit, adhering to hospital policies and nursing services principles, policies, and procedures to ensure high-quality care practiced.
- Adhere to Patient Safety Goals in compliance with standards set by the Ministry of Health.
- Provide personalized, attentive care to newborn and infant, holistic patient care, with accurate documentation and timely reporting of abnormal findings. High-quality maternity care is provided, including emergency procedures, and ensure safe maternal and child healthcare.
- Supervise labor progress using portogram and assist in interpretation of CTG and complications like preterm labor and hemorrhage.
- Guiding and supervising new mothers on self-care, newborn care, breastfeeding, and family planning and preparing to provide postnatal home care education and support.
