Duties and Responsibilities: This position obtains patient histories, performs physical examinations, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including health risk assessments; accurately records patient information, counsels patients, develops and maintains health care or therapeutic plans consistent with patient needs and the County's wellness initiatives. Distributes wellness program educational literature and material, promotes and assists with wellness events. This position also performs professional work in Henderson County's Wellness Clinic in support of the County's employee wellness program. Hours are Monday through Friday 8:00am-4:30 pm. Counsels employees regarding individualized health risk assessments and recommends and assists with health management measures; diagnoses presented medical conditions and provides appropriate medical treatment and/or referral; prescribes medications accordingly; ...
