Position Overview:
The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) — Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) — provides primary medical care within a federally contracted ICE residential facility.
The APP conducts medical evaluations, diagnoses and treats acute and chronic conditions, prescribes medications, orders and interprets diagnostic testing, manages infectious disease concerns, responds to medical emergencies, and coordinates referrals for higher levels of care.
