About the role
Intern Nurse Practitioner role (x2) at 0.8 FTE. Trainee role responsible for combining advanced nursing knowledge and skills with diagnostic reasoning and therapeutic knowledge to provide patient‑centred healthcare services, including the diagnosis and management of common and complex health conditions.
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively, providing advanced clinical expertise and leadership to an individual and population‑based approach to meet healthcare needs.
- Provide clinical care under the supervision of a current Nurse Practitioner or credentialed Specialist within the Hutt District Emergency Department.
- Participate in a rotating roster for 18‑24 months (dependent on start date) as part of a secondment.
