Seeking an experienced Urgent Care APP to join a great team!
Statement of Purpose: An Urgent Care Advanced Practice Provider performs various functions in ensuring that patients that need immediate attention are stabilized and properly cared for.
MAJOR TASKS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Introduces self to patient and patient s family, explaining the APP s role and responsibilities prior to any work-up or assessment.
- Must demonstrate the ability to care for patients of the adolescent to geriatric age range.
- Remains in the hospital, available and responsive to calls at all times while on duty.
- Diagnose and treat a variety of common acute and chronic conditions across the lifespan.
- Examines patient, takes medical history, records results, and makes preliminary diagnosis or decides on follow-up procedures.
