The Nurse Practitioner will provide quality medical and gynecological services to a diverse student population as part of an outpatient clinic and will participate in health education and community outreach activities related to the University Student Health Services.
Primary Responsibilities:
+ Manage medical and gynecological concerns, which includes:
+ Assessment and diagnosis, providing patient health education, ordering laboratory tests, x-rays, and prescribing medications
+ Keep timely and meticulous health records
+ Provide physicals for sports, study abroad and academic-related activities
+ Evaluate MMR/TB status regarding administrative health requirement
+ Refer to specialty or emergency care as appropriate
