About the role
We are seeking an innovative, enthusiastic and experienced nurse to join our friendly team as a Nurse Specialist in a permanent, part‑time (0.5FTE) capacity. The Nurse Specialist is an advanced nursing speciality practice and is an expert in assessment skills, diagnostic reasoning, knowledge of management options and monitoring underpinning practice. They have specialist knowledge of complex conditions which is central to the role. Case management and coordination of the patient and their whanau with health professionals, inpatient areas and intersectorially is integral. They will be an expert navigating health systems.
