YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE
:Reporting to the Supervisor, Health and Safety, you will be part of the Health and Safety Department. You will be responsible for employee injury management, liaising with the WSCC for injury case management, new hire assessments, and working with our Medical Director as necessary. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s culture, Health & Safety Code of Conduct, and the environment.
Provide care for workers who are injured or become ill at work;
Assess the severity of a medical emergency and decide what treatment is appropriate;
Perform medical examinations, audiograms, PFT tests, and administer vaccinations;
Conduct WSCC/CNESST claims management and support for workers and contractors, ensuring appropriate documentation is completed;
