As a nursery manager you will:
• Supervise, direct, support and motivate staff across the nursery.
• Devise a range of activities with members of their room and guide staff in high quality delivery of these
activities.
• To provide support to unqualified team members and students who are pursuing a childcare qualification.
• To have an awareness of the requirements of the nursery as a whole and to be familiar with the routines of
each of the rooms.
• To ensure planning and observation targets are being met.
• Be responsible for ensuring scorecard are used and data collected.
• Take a lead role in inducting new staff.
• Be competent in all nursery software.
• Complete show rounds when necessary
