- In charge of organising daily nursing, developing and meeting operational standards, following the guidelines
- Provide nursing leadership and effective delivery of optimal nursing care to all seniors in the centre and home care
- Provide orientation and guidance for new staff through continuing education and supervision to achieve quality care
- Implementation of a quality management system, its use and development in the unit
- Know-how in nursing, the necessary education, and training
- Know-how in audit and quality management
- Know-how in legal matters concerning social and health services
- Know-how in serving as a consultant and providing clinical expertise to staff on professional nursing issues
