• Bachelors, Masters, or PhD in Nutrition or
• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN)
Community Nutrition WIC Program
• Proficient use of NY/WIC Computer System
• Adhere to regulations of WIC Program according to NYS Policy.
• Interface with NYS department of Health representatives to ensure maximum compliance with WIC Program regulations.
Ensure confidentiality of all medical records.
• Develop and implement high risk care plans and oversee high risk care to all participants.• Refer high risk participants to other health related and social services agencies as necessary.• Coordinate nutrition education, including breastfeeding promotion and support that is responsive to the identified needs/interest of each h...
