Registrar, Obstetrics & Gynaecology – Waikato Hospital, Permanent Full‑time.
About the Role
Join Te Whatu Ora Waikato District’s Obstetrics & Gynaecology team, a RANZCOG training department offering a range of specialist areas including gynae‑oncology, minimal access surgery, urogynaecology, colposcopy, high‑risk obstetrics and a dedicated pre‑term birth clinic.
As a registrar you will contribute to a high volume women’s health service that performs approximately 5,500 deliveries per year, with 3,500 at Waikato Hospital.
Responsibilities
- Provide acute gynaecology and obstetrics care, including inpatient and outpatient antenatal services.
- Attend to the Registrar after‑hours roster.
- Participate in protected weekly registrar teaching and multidisciplinary CTG education meetings.
