Position Summary: An Obstetric Hospitalist is a specialized physician who provides comprehensive care to pregnant patients in a hospital setting, focusing on managing labor and delivery, high-risk pregnancies, and emergency obstetric care. The primary role is to ensure the safety and well-being of both the mother and fetus throughout pregnancy, labor, and postpartum care. The Obstetric Hospitalist works closely with obstetricians, maternal-fetal medicine specialists, nurses, and other healthcare providers to deliver high-quality, timely care.
