Job Description

Position Type: Locum Tenens
Specialty: Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB/GYN) Physician
Location: Virginia
Rate: $220/hr on 1099 with Travel, lodging and malpractice coverage
Shift: 24-Hour In-House Call
Start Date: September 2026
End Date: 6-Month Assignment

Position Details:

Patient Population: Obstetric & Gynecologic Patients

Setting: Hospital & Clinic

Responsibilities:

  • Provide 24-hour in-house OB/GYN call coverage
  • Manage Labor & Delivery services
  • Handle unassigned OB/GYN hospital call
  • Perform routine OB/GYN procedures and minor gynecologic surgeries
  • Supervise and manage residents
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary women's health team
