**Job Summary and Qualifications**
**The O/R Scrub Tech performs specific non-licensed or non-professional duties of patient care under the supervision of the RN. As a staff member, he/she can expect to provide safe and effective patient care, through the performance of specific duties, as the surgical scrub tech during surgical and other invasive procedures under the direction of a registered nurse. Performs routine scrub as well as specifically delegated duties according to AORN standards and established policies and procedures of the department of surgery.
