Job Description

Overview

At Penticton Regional Hospital (PRH), we are seeking a qualified OB/GYN locum to provide consultative obstetric care, antepartum/intrapartum support, and gynecological surgery in a 158‑bed regional referral centre serving the South Okanagan and Similkameen Valley.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive obstetric care including antepartum, intrapartum, and postnatal services.
  • Consult with family physicians and midwives on obstetric cases.
  • Perform gynecological surgeries as scheduled in designated OR time.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of approximately 50 specialists.

Qualifications

  • Board‑certified in OB/GYN.
  • Strong interest and competency in consultative obstetrics, antepartum/intrapartum care, and gynecological surgery.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
