Occupational Health And Safety Specialist
The Occupational Health and Safety Specialist will provide support for the Employee Safety / Occupational Health and Safety function for the UC Health system by coordinating and conducting activities to maintain a safe and healthful environment. The responsibility will be to recommend measures to help protect workers from potentially hazardous work methods, processes, or materials.
Responsibilities
Program Support:
Performs routine safety inspections and audits within UC Health facilities. Promotes a Culture of Safety (Employee Safety) at UC Health facilities. Identify and address potential safety issues, risks and hazards and provide corrective action plans. Assist with any OSHA complaints and/or inspections. Monitor safety practices and regulations to ensure compliance with all applicable laws.
