Occupational Hygienist Responsibilities
- Support the development, review, and implementation of project-specific Infection Prevention and Control Plans aligned with CSA Z317.13 requirements.
- Review Infection Control Risk Assessments (ICRAs) and conduct Preventive Measure Analysis (PMA) in accordance with CSA Z317.13.
- Perform routine on‑site inspections and audits of construction and renovation areas.
- Verify implementation of infection control measures, including dust control, barriers, traffic flow, and housekeeping.
- Confirm proper operation of engineering controls (e.g., negative air machines, HEPA filtration).
- Identify, document, and follow up on IPC deficiencies or breaches related to construction activities.
