Job Description
Our client is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to support children and young people with a range of physical, sensory, and developmental needs in Walsall. The role involves specialist assessments, equipment provision, and managing complex housing adaptations through DFG pathways.
Working Pattern: Hybrid – 2 days per week in the office. Touchdown office space is available Monday to Friday between visits.
Key Responsibilities
Complete comprehensive children’s OT assessments, including functional, sensory, and environmental evaluations.Develop and implement intervention plans to support independence, participation, and safety.Provide expert advice and recommendations on moving & handling and specialist equipment.Carry out DFG assessments and manage complex Disabled Facilities Grant applications in line with legislation and housing requirements.Work collaboratively with families, therap...
