Ocean Import Operator
Location: Bradford
Salary: Up to £33,000
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:00
Responsibilities
- Handling general administrative duties, including data input, shipping documentation, raising invoices and passing purchase invoices
- Arranging import consignments
- Planning and booking deliveries
- Monitoring shipments
- Liaising with customers and service providers
- Supporting the day-to-day running of the import department
Requirements
- Minimum 1 to 2 years' experience working within a shipping department environment
- Knowledge of customs procedures and software would be preferred
- Strong customer service focus
- Proactive approach with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
