About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Oncology and Same Day Surgery (SDS) Coder to join our Revenue Cycle team. This role covers coding, charge entry, charge auditing, EOB review, and hold list management across oncology and surgical service lines. The right candidate will be comfortable owning their workflow independently and ensuring every billable service is accurately coded and captured.
Key Responsibilities
Oncology & SDS Coding
- Perform accurate medical coding for oncology services including infusion, injection, administration procedures, laboratory services, and surgical oncology procedures
- Code Same Day Surgery procedures across relevant CPT ranges in compliance with payer guidelines
- Conduct charge entry and charge auditing to ensure all billable services are accurately captured
- Identify missed charges, charge omissions, and documentation gaps that impact reimbursement
