What you will be doing
- Analyze and reconcile cost discrepancies to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare and maintain cost reports and budget forecasts.
- Evaluate cost-saving opportunities and recommend strategies to reduce expenses.
- Assist in month-end and year-end close processes related to costs and inventory.
- Collaborate with procurement and production teams to review and analyze cost variances.
- Develop and monitor internal control procedures related to cost accounting.
