Position Summary/Description:
The Division of Hematology-Oncology at the University of North Carolina is seeking a full-time, open rank tenure/tenure track physician-scientist to contribute to the division’s research mission in the areas of laboratory or clinical research and to provide clinical care to our patients. The faculty member will be appointed to the G. Denman Hammon Professorship in Childhood Cancer.
The Division of Hematology-Oncology in the Department of Pediatrics consists of 17 faculty members and 16 nurse practitioners. Areas of oncological expertise in the division include hematopoietic and solid tumor treatments. Cancer focused investigators in the division are also members of the UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center.
