The Operational Performance SME is a senior analytical role responsible for delivering high quality, timely and insightful operational performance information to support effective decision making across Barts Health NHS Trust. The post holder will lead on the development and delivery of integrated performance reporting, providing expert analysis across elective and non elective services to support compliance with national and local performance standards.
Working closely with operational, clinical, finance and information teams, the role ensures that complex data is translated into clear, meaningful insight that supports service improvement, productivity, capacity planning and the delivery of patient care. This includes interpretation of national guidance, development of key performance indicators, benchmarking, forecasting and performance trajectories, and ensuring robust data quality and assurance.
