Position Overview
Principal, Operational Risk – responsible for leading the Operational Risk Management (ORM) program in London while supporting EMEA and global initiatives. The role collaborates to deliver strategic, innovative solutions using risk frameworks, data analytics (including AI) and extensive risk management experience.
Responsibilities
- Risk Program Oversight : Oversee adherence to Apollo's operational risk management framework within London and across EMEA, including governance of the Risk and Control Inventory (RCI), Incident Management, Issue Management, Risk Assessment and Key Risk Indicator Management. Ensure regular reviews of risk procedures and standards aligned with firm objectives, regulatory standards and client expectations; report to Head of ORM and dotted‑line to Regional COO; prioritise and deliver on planned work; represent key messages to Risk Forums/Committees and internal stakeholders.
