Overview
Our Operational Support Officers deliver excellent customer service and essential administrative support across HM Courts & Tribunals Service (HMCTS). Working in a mix of office and courtroom settings, you will progress court and tribunal cases, coordinate hearings, and assist users—including members of the judiciary, legal professionals and the public.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare papers and files for court, tribunal hearings and meetings, accurately handling sensitive information.
- Create and update digital records, interpreting court file requirements and ensuring information is correctly captured.
- Communicate with the public, the judiciary and other court users, and representatives from other agencies and organisations.
- Support the smooth running of court proceedings, including preparing court and hearing rooms and ensuring courts operate efficiently.
