Operations and Maintenance Manager - Utility Generation Systems

Research and Administration Facilities South Campus (RAFSC) self-generate the chilled water and steam for all campus buildings. Chilled water is distributed via a central loop throughout the campus and supports critical facilities including patient clinics, vivaria, and complex research buildings. Utility generation and equipment reliability is key to providing clients with a world class research environment. The new SCRB5 and BRF buildings are both being added to the chilled water loop in the next 2 years. Additionally, a new chiller plant along with many new heat recovery chillers will be added as part of the infrastructure for these new buildings.

SUMMARY
The primary purpose of the Manager, Operations and Maintenance Manager position is to manage the Operations and Maintenance front-line shops and ensure customer service levels meet the department goal.
